Europe versus Energy is a multilateral partnership Comenius Project run from 2008 to 2010, between 4 schools in Greece, Sweden, Norway and Romania.
During the two years of the project, the participants:

  • study the energy status of Europe (sources, power plants, consumption, dependence on foreign countries),
  • study the pollution due to energy consumption (and especially the greenhouse effect),
  • investigate the reasons of oil price increase,
  • investigate the evolution of energy demands in the world and especially in Europe,
  • investigate possible future energy sources for Europe that can replace fossil fuels (solar power, wind power, nuclear fusion power, etc).
  • study and compare the energy status of our countries. These studies will be supported by on-site visits of power plants.
